Hi, I’m Tali Finn, the heart behind Starry Sky Books, indie writer and creator, but most importantly, a Mum — my greatest title! 

I was born in Peru, in a desert city where the stunning night sky would fill my heart with wonder.  At the tender age of eleven, I relocated to England, leaving everything I knew behind  and losing my greatest love and protector — my beloved grandmama Elisa — who I missed so dearly.  As a small child, we would gaze at the stars together, tender moments that have left a beautiful imprint in my heart.  I celebrate those tender childhood memories in my children's book Starry Sky (out soon)— a heartfelt story of wonder and imagination and dedicated to my loving nan, who believed that every child has their own guardian Angel.

My personal journey into writing began as a quiet pipe dream — like a small seed finding its way to the light.  Following deep personal loss, I began a journey of introspection, quiet reflection and healing, turning my heart into my compass and feeling a whisper of divine guidance softly nudging me to 'believe'  in myself, as I took a  brilliant leap of faith and founded Starry Sky Books, a children's publisher.​​

This new chapter in my life turns pain into purpose, because sometimes the most beautiful stories come from the deepest struggles. I look forward to sharing my creative universe full of starry hopes and a heart full of gratitude.
